  • A special presentation of Understanding Long-Term Care will be offered on Tuesday, August 10, 7 p.m., at Memorial Hall on the Maple Lawn Homes campus in Eureka. Representatives from MMA will discuss long-term care insurance, the relationship between Medicare and long-term care and how to protect your assets from the high cost of long-term care.   • PASTORAL SEARCH UPDATE

    We have two POTENTIAL candidates coming to visit our communities and our church on August 15 and 22. Neither of these two individuals are here to officially candidate for senior pastor, just to visit and give our search committee a chance to get to know them a little better. Please be in prayer for both families and the search committee as we all continue to seek God's will for Salem Church.

    Also...the trustees are working on clean-up and refurbishment of the parsonage. A big thank-you to all who have worked at cleaning there already. If you are interested in helping with this work, please contact Reggie Roth at 815-343-9384 to volunteer. Thanks for any help you can give, we know you are all very busy but it is important for us to be able to put our best foot forward. With potential Pastoral candidates coming to visit us in August it is critical for us to be actively working on these projects.
