ARTICLE VI - MEETINGS

 

1.  Regular weekly meetings of the church shall be Sunday School, Sunday morning worship services, and a weekly schedule of additional opportunities for worship,

     instruction, fellowship and service.  Communion shall be observed at least four times a year as designated by the Deacons.  Exceptions to this plan of services

     shall be made by the Pastor and Deacons.

             

2.  Special services such as Evangelistic, Holy Week, Missionary Conferences, Bible Conferences and any other appropriate services shall be arranged by the

     pastor in consultation with the deacons, the appropriate board or the council.

 

3.  The annual business meeting shall be held not later than June 15.  The date and time are to be set by the church council and shall be announced at regular services

     at least two weeks in advance of the meeting.  The purpose of the meeting shall be to conduct elections, approve the budget, and to transact any other necessary

     business.

             

4.  Special business meetings may be called by action of the council, or at the written request of any 25 voting members of the church.  The time and purpose of such

     meetings shall be publicly announced at the regular services at least two weeks in advance of the meeting.
