ARTICLE X - ELECTED OFFICES

1.           Deacons

              Deacons shall be approved by the membership body for a three year term.

2.           Church Chairman

              The church chairman shall be elected for a two year term.

3.           Church Secretary

              A church secretary shall be elected for a two year term.

 4.           Church Council

               One church council member at large shall be elected annually and serve for a three year term.

5.           Trustees

              One trustee shall be elected annually and serve for a three year term.

6.           Director of Christian Education

              A director of Christian Education shall be elected for a two year term.

7.           Adult Department Superintendent

              An adult superintendent shall be elected for a two year term.

8.           High School Department Superintendent

              A high school superintendent shall be elected for a two year term.

9.           Junior Department Superintendent

              A junior superintendent shall be elected for a two year term.

10.          Primary Department Superintendent

              A primary superintendent shall be elected for a two year term.

11.          Pre-primary Department Superintendent

              A pre-primary superintendent is elected for a two year term.

12.          Boys & Girls Club Coordinator

              A coordinator shall be elected for a two year term.

13.          Christian Education Board Secretary

              A C.E. Board secretary shall be elected annually to serve for a two year term.

14.          Mission Board

              Two members shall be elected annually to serve for a two year term.

15.          Church Hospitality Coordinator(s)

              A coordinator(s) shall be elected for a two year term.

16.          Head Usher   

              A head usher shall be elected for a two year term.

17.          Service Committee Chairman

              The chairman of the service committee shall be elected for a two year term.

18.          Salem Children's Home Representative

              A Salem Home representative shall be elected for a two year term to serve as a liaison between the church and Salem Children's Home.  They shall serve

              under the mission board.

19.          Mennonite Disaster Service Representative

              A Mennonite disaster service representative shall be elected for a two year term.  This representative shall serve under the mission board.

 20.          Music Committee

              Two music committee members shall be elected annually.

21.          Nominating Committee

              Five members to be elected annually.

22.          Evangelical Mennonite Church Convention Delegates

              Delegates to the annual convention shall be elected annually according to the provisions of the Conference Manual, Part IV, Article I, B, 2, b.

23.          Delegates to Meadows Mennonite Home

              One delegate for every 100 members and an additional delegate for each fraction above shall be elected annually, in addition to the pastor and Home Board

              member(s), to represent the church at the annual meeting and any special meetings of the Home Association.

24.          Delegates to Brokaw-Mennonite Association

              Two delegates shall be elected annually, in addition to the pastor and Hospital Board member(s), to represent the church at the annual meeting and any

              special meetings of the Hospital Association.

25.          Delegates to M.C.C. Great Lakes Region

              Two delegates for each 100 members and fraction thereof shall be elected annually as delegates to the M.C.C. Great Lakes Region annual meeting.
